Shopping: New pool floats because all of ours are sad, faded, half-deflated ones from last summer.
Eating: Two Brazil Nuts a Day.
Reading: Prime Day deals. The sale is still a few weeks away, but prep starts now.
Listening to: I officially threw in the towel on Ultranatural. I kept waiting for everything to click, but eventually realized I just didn’t care enough to find out what was actually going on.
Planning: Italy! Counting down the days until our trip and finalizing all our activities and restaurant reservations with Meg!
Loving: The viral dry oil bug spray that lived up to every bit of the hype for me last summer. Smells like a luxe body oil, works incredibly well.

THOUGHT DROP
It’s our last day of sixth grade and fourth grade, which means summer break starts TODAY!
Which is exciting...but also seems to trigger some sort of annual panic-cleaning response in me. For the past week, I’ve had an overwhelming urge to get my life together before summer officially begins.
Not in a New Year’s resolution kind of way. More in a “there are about to be 17 kids in and out of my house all day, every day, for the next few months” kind of way.
Suddenly, I’m tracking down all our pool towels, setting up a garage water cooler, restocking the snack drawer, buying freezer pops in bulk, and switching over to food baskets for fewer dishes when a handful of extra kids inevitably stay for dinner.
I also had Clear The Clutter over earlier this week to help me reset a few spaces around the house too. The pantry, the storage closets, the random catch-all spaces that slowly become dumping grounds throughout the school year.
It’s about removing as many little annoyances as possible before summer starts.
Because summer is always more fun when your house isn’t actively working against you.
The kids may be on summer break, but thanks to a week of panic-prepping, I feel like I can finally be too.
