Thomas usually burns through his early in the school year, while Caroline almost always saves hers for May when everything starts piling up…EOGs, projects, performances, all the pressure that comes with the end of the year.
And honestly? I get it.
These aren’t “fun day” days where we skip school and go do something exciting. We call them Snooze Days. The whole point is to truly rest and recover however they want to…sleep in, stay in pajamas, watch movies, read, lay around, decompress.
